JavaServer Pages Links

In the summer of 2002, I wandered into the land of the JSP as I worked on an application for work-- and now I'm hooked. Why use .NET technology when you can write and serve JSPs for free?

JSP Syntax Reference -- very, very handy
A JSP Tutorial -- a great tutorial for those just starting out
Java Developer Connection -- you can get any question imaginable answered in this joint
Apache Tomcat -- you'll need a servlet container to test your JSPs, and I recommend Tomcat. It can work as standalone or an Apache web server module

CSS Links

CSS is the best thing since sliced bread and the zipper. You can dispose of those deprecated HTML tags and move onto DHTML and W3C standards.

AListApart.com -- a great website for all around web development help; and the CSS tips are oh so handy
CSSCreator.com -- the forum on this site rocks. It's very helpful indeed. Tell Tony I sent you.
Daniel's Help -- wandered across this one day; don't know the guy, of course, but he seems informative
Microsoft Developer's Network -- this site gets my glowing endorsement -- you can find any CSS resources you need
The CSS Know-How Site -- the developer requested I list this site -- so I did -- it seems very complete
Glish.com -- CSS Layout Techniques -- Great site to use for creating tableless sites
Complexspiral Demo -- yet another great reason to use Mozilla--also awesome CSS techniques

ColdFusion Links

In my experience with programming with ColdFusion (a beefed-up version of HTML), I've found these links to be very helpful. They include forums for posting request for help and readily give examples of code you can cut and paste.

CF Comet -- a great place to find others that are better at ColdFusion than you!
Official ColdFusion Website -- an awesome website -- you're guaranteed to find what you're looking for
ColdFusion ColdCuts -- a great resource for those oft used pieces of code
Programmer's Heaven -- gives many helpful links to ColdFusion help

Visual Basic Links

I'm going to admit that I know not a lick of Visual Basic, but someone wanted their link included, I checked it out, and it seemed very informative so here goes.

Visual Basic Resource -- includes tutorials and downloads -- what more could you ask for?

Anything else?

Man...your weblog is so cool...So where did I get my blogging software you ask? My weblog is powered by WordPress. If you loved my last weblog program, check out MovableType. Prior to that, I used Greysoft.

Maybe someday I'll post my favorite javascript and general web development links. Don't hold your breath.

Do you think your site should be listed here? Well, pass it along (nicoleATnicoleswan.com), and if it's good enough, complete enough, and doggone it, I like it, I'll list it here!
