Temporary Hiatus

As I am suffering through a short term lapse of internet connection at home, posting will be sparse for an undetermined amount of time. I think I will pull through, but I’m feeling quite disconnected. Obviously, I am working on correcting this problem sooner rather than later.

New Gadget: The iHome Clock Radio

Though I am not happy to be 25 — besides the cheaper insurance and ability to rent a car without penalty — the birthday monies from said occasion have provided for a new gadget. Now, I can, if I so choose, wake up to tunes from my iPod or just listen to my iPod [...]

I’m a Bloglines-er

I’ve finally done it. I’ve broken down and leapt into the world of RSS readers, feeds, and whatnot. While I have dutifully provided all flavors of feeds for my site for years, I must admit I’ve never really bothered with them myself. Why read design-less content when I can surf over to [...]

Microsoft Launch Event in Denver

A few thoughts on the Microsoft Launch Event I attended in Denver, CO for the launch of SQL Server 2005, Visual Studio 2005, and BizTalk Server 2006 (beta). Presented in bullet-point format.

Bad Defensive Design for the Web

Firstly, an error message is displayed when a I initially go to the client log-in creation page. Hmmm, I thought to myself. Some functionality isn’t working apparently, but the form is still there, so I must be able to continue. Wrong. [...]

Hiatus Schmiatus

So I took a hiatus (possbily permanent) from editing for ForeverGeek with the idea of putting more time into this site. However, instead of providing my loyal readers with increased quality and quantity of writing, I seem to have taken a hiatus from all blogging. That was not the plan.
I will try to [...]

Dreams

To live in a bike friendlier world. To create the greatest collection of fabulous shoes ever assembled. To see a viable third party in US politics. To get local Rio team riders to acknowledge existence on road.
