Important Rules of Bike Commuting

  1. Always carry rain gear.
  2. If you forget rain gear, you will get rained on.

Or so I’ve heard.

yeah, learned that. But you getting wet is…. um… wet. Since i started commuting people ask what I am going to do when it rains. I smile and say, “get wet.” Of course tere’s other option, but its summer, the rain is warm, and it cools me off better than an air conditioner.

In this case, it happened to be cold and wet — not a good combo. The warm/wet combo isn’t bad, but I also feel silly when I know I have perfectly good rain gear sitting at home!
