Oh, what to do.

So, some chick is stealing my Wally Szczerbiak collage for use as her background image. And she’s using my bandwidth for it.

This leaves me in an interesting situation. Should I be nice or not so nice? I’m leaning toward not so nice just because it would be more fun.
UPDATE: I went for the nice-but-not-extremely-nice approach. I would probably even let the girl continue to use it if she asked. Although I have serious concerns regarding the readability of her site.

I WAS having this problem.. hotlinking .. not any more .. in your .htaccess file you can specify that all image requests that come from any other server than your’s should get a “alternate” image.
check it out .. try to SRC one of my images .. you should post it here for all to see .. (img tags are turned off in comments)
I never got around to changing the “alternate” image ..

Hmm. There’s the standard tubgirl or goatse pics, but that level of horror is probably unwarranted, unless she’s ignored warnings. Perhaps if you replaced it with a Michael Moore collage? Shirtless pics of Rush Limbaugh? Or the Most Hirsute Robin Williams?
(Note: If you don’t know what pics I’m talking about, absolutely DO NOT search for them. Trust me.)

Sorry. I know I promised. The thing is — my digital camera is temporarily out of commission. As soon as I find the charger, I will post the picture of the COMPLETED potholder as promised.

Ok, it sucks that she’s stealing your bandwidth (and “art”)….but come on, do you think she’s smart enough to upload her own stuff? I couldn’t read ANYTHING on that site because of that image!!!
