The Avatar: Reloaded
Posted on | August 1, 2004 |
In May, when Yahoo Avatars launched, I made the first generation Nicole the Avatar. At the time, there were not very many options for customization. As you can see, I went back recently to update my avatar. I managed to get the hair a little closer and the clothes to the proper level of casualness. Oddly enough, the PDA came with the white tank top. I also had to throw in the office background given that, as of late, I’ve been spending most of my time there.
Now I just need to wait for there to be accessories besides pink purses and dangly earrings available for female avatars.

What, no criticisms of Yahoo Avatars refusal to support anything but IE?

I think I covered it in the first gen posting. But, yeah, that annoys me a lot. It’s such a chore to fire up IE. *sigh*

Oh. Right. I’m…Unobservant.
Do you have the View in IE extension? It adds an option to the context menu that–wait for it–views the current page in IE.
