the time of year
Posted on | May 5, 2004 |
It always happens this time of year.
I get restless. I want to do something different. I want to get away. And this feeling applies to many aspects of my life.
Also, I want my old car back too.

I’ve been having that same sort of feeling lately. I started riding a motorcycle, so that helped some. Today I bought Learning Python, and I’m sure that will keep my busy for a few days. Maybe I’ll toy around with some Java stuff, too. Who knows. I just know that I’ve been feeling bored lately.
By the way, what kind was your old car? And what do you have now?

I used to have a Mustang, but I decided to be practical (considering I lived in the Northern Plains) and purchase Rosie.
And, Rosie is lovely in the winter. But in the late spring and summer, I really miss Wally (the mustang).

It’s not that I want something else. I want both.
And I seriously thought about it, but figured a single person didn’t need two cars.

I couldn’t have said it better. I feel like creating an alias and doing all sorts of wild and crazy things under a different name. So that when I come back to my senses I can blame it all on some evil twin.
