ridiculous

One would think that one whose official title is ‘Web Programming Specialist’ would take the time to make one’s website standards compliant.
Wrong. One has not the ambition.

Don’t do it for yourself, do it for your readers. Do it for your google searches too.. when you explore the benefits of XHTML and css design you will notice that google will rank you higher on alot of top searcheds
Once I converted to XHTML/CSS I noticed a TON more web traffic from searches.
for example I am google’s top resource for “fagatosis” and the “clevand steamer” .. whats better than that.
If you need help with XHTML/CSS let me know. More than willing to help as I just got my site to validate and pass accessibility standards.
w00t, geeks rule.

Oh, I know the benefits. In fact I’m an advocate for standards and separating content from layout and design. All sites I make for others validate XHTML, CSS, and 508 compliant. I just haven’t done it with my website.
My semicolons and slashes section is happily standards compliant.
