Fuzzy memories

I am hereby warning anyone who may be thinking about going back through many years-old emails that it could be shocking what they find. Or worse yet, one might be absolutely unable to figure out what the hell one was talking about. Exhibit A: an email received over four years ago from a high school friend I haven’t seen since graduation (from high school). Oh, and haven’t emailed or talked to for over three years. Hmmm…so much for being friends 4evR and never changing and all that yearbook crap.
Are you serious? You are so lucky. I got stuck on an all girl’s floor so I never see any guys. Nicole, I personally will kill you if you don’t go after this guy. Quick question-Kandi as in Newell Kandi or a new Kandi? I don’t know where everyone finally decided to go since I left. I feel abandoned
that was an attempt at a pout. hahaha ( Anna does that all the time in her letters, and now I am starting to). Sounds like out of you, Anna and I you have the best guys to USD. I think I am going to transfer. Just joking. Gotta go-hope things stay all good.
The first question I posed to myself was — what guy is the topic of conversation? If I could only remember, I could perhaps linger over a few bygone memories. Or perhaps dust off and peruse through the crushes of yesteryear. What I find the most hilarious is that this disjointed writing comes from a salutatorian. It’s okay Annie, I know it was just an informal email. But I get a chuckle from it nonetheless.
