I like to ride my bike.

yesterday

I think I was part of the only traffic jam in South Dakota yesterday: one on the interstate just outside Rapid City.

My love of Josh Groban caused me to go into Suncoast yesterday and purchase the sheet music for his album. (sidenote: But upon sitting down to play it, I was confronted with an old foe — the binding for the music. Geez. The people who create these books must not actually play piano themselves. Have they ever heard of a spiral binding? You know, the kind of binding that actually allows the book to stay open with out having to place heavier books at either end of the music.) The music is beautiful, though. gira con me questa notte is highly recommended — just don’t get scared off when it changes to 5 sharps.

I love Walgreens.

I have that same problem. Some of these books just don’t stay open! There are some with threaded bindings that are really good about this. Like most Dover I have no probably keeping open since they sew them together in groups of pages. Very smart. I just got a Gershwin book, Complete Keyboard Works, that just won’t stay. I have all these paper clips and a heavier book cliped. Hassle for turning pages

Dreams

To live in a bike friendlier world. To create the greatest collection of fabulous shoes ever assembled. To see a viable third party in US politics. To get local Rio team riders to acknowledge existence on road.
