US Naziism?

“Of course the people don’t want war…That is understood. But after all, it is the leaders of the country who determine the policy, and it’s always a simple matter to drag the people along whether it’s a democracy, a fascist dictatorship, or a parliament, or a communist dictatorship. Voice or no voice, the people can always be brought to the bidding of the leaders. That is easy… All you have to do is tell them they are being attacked, and denounce the pacifists for lack of patriotism and exposing the country to danger. It works the same in any country.”
- Herman Goering, Adolf Hitler’s Deputy Chief and Luftwaffe Commander, at the Nuremberg trials, 1946 from “Nuremberg Diary” by G.M. Gilbert::

Every person is a possible target for paranoya(spell?).]A Totalitarian Regime, be it “moderate” or “nazi”, has just to make a lot of people feel paranoiac about ONE SAME THING, which this regime says itīs the only one able to fight against IF NO ONE TRIES TO INTERFERE (= CRITICIZE).
Regards.

Hermann Goering’s statement is true in a sense, but in a democracy we would find out that our leaders are lying and then we would hold them accountable for their actions.
We have found no such lies from our leaders.
Whoever the leader of the our country may be, I believe they all take the same actions before attacking another country.
Let’s remember all people have rights, but I sure hope the leaders of the United States have the United States citizens rights held above another countries dictators rights.
