I like to ride my bike.

ridiculous

Posted on | October 29, 2003 |

I have way too many shoes. This picture is only a portion of my shoes — and this is after I threw away four pairs and designated another eight pair to be given away, tossed, sold, whatever.

The official tally of shoes:

3 pairs of boots
8 pairs of flip-flops
8 pairs of heels
4 pairs of running shoes
5 pairs of casual tennis shoes
3 miscellaneous pairs
1 pair of snow boots

Is this too many? Let’s hear your tallies.

I’m tempted to say “well, you’re female, so it’s ok.” but then i think “why the hell do you need so many shoes??” ;)

I’m guessing I don’t NEED them per say. I just LOVE them. :)

well, if you love them, then it’s ok.

In high school, at a small social gathering, a friend of ours LOVED sara’s shoe….

I have decided that I prefer one good pair that goes with a lot of outfits rather than the 15 pairs that I have and never wear. And you know what? I need shoes for Haloween and I can’t find any that will go with my costume. HOW IS THAT POSSIBLE???

I feel your pain, Ags. I often have that problem with clothing. I have enough to clothe a small country, but most of the time, I have nothing to wear. How is that possible?

Dreams

To live in a bike friendlier world. To create the greatest collection of fabulous shoes ever assembled. To see a viable third party in US politics. To get local Rio team riders to acknowledge existence on road.
