Why women will one day rule the free world

Women will one day rule the free world. I will tell you why. As children, we do not play cops and robbers, GI Joe, or Quake III. We are much more industrious. We are born businesswomen and politicians. We just haven’t realized our full potential …yet.
Sure, every girl plays a little Barbie or My Little Pony. But that can only entertain us for a short while. My sister and I painstakingly put pockets and due slips on all of our books to create a library. (That, of course, was before we computerized everything.)
We ‘owned’ an in-house restaurant. Amy (my sister) was head chef, while I designed a complete menu. Service was superior I assure you; our ‘profit’ was tips.
Office was another endeavor. I was the secretary (with my own computer) and my sister the high-power executive (she was older and it was her idea) handed down paperwork.
Quake I, II or III did not exist in our household. We instead entertained ourselves learning about history and geography (Where in the World/Where in Time is Carmen Sandiego).
I can’t even remember all of the ‘businesses’ my sister and I owned and operated through the years.
But, you may say, how do your experiences evolve into women taking over the world? Easy. We ALL do this. Lemonade stands, selling baking goods, playing hospital with paperwork and all. Ending fights between women (especially sisters) requires a great deal of diplomacy. Give and take. If women were in charge of peace in the middle east, it would have been done already.
We outnumber men and are the majority in undergraduate college programs. We are powerful. If a few more women put two-and-two together — watch out.
Plus, unlike Bush, we can be world leaders because we know where the countries are. Thank you Carmen Sandiego.
