I like to ride my bike.

Man it’s been a long time…

So it’s my birthday. That’s right folks. I’m 22 today. What better day is there to put an entry in my weblog? I’m really sorry about my laziness in regards to this weblog. It’s annoying to me when people don’t update their webpages, but yet I do it. I’m a doggone hypocrit. However, it’s a little lame that I’m doing this on the night of my day of birth while I sit at home alone avoiding reading I need to do for class.

Even more lame is that I’ve been wandering on the net checking out the webpages of old Real Worlders — Melissa and Matt from New Orleans, Colin from Hawaii. It makes me wonder. How long can these people live on their 15 minutes of fame? Matt and Colin seem super chill and actually have ambitions other than being an actor. But visit the MTV site and check out what RWs are doing now and you’ll see that most are aspiring actors/actresses. Here’s an idea: actually come back down to the real world.

I’m sorry if this seems harsh; perhaps I am just jealous. After all, I’ve never really put myself out on a limb like that. I couldn’t imagine dropping everything right now to be on the Real World. What about graduating from college, my scholarships, job, etc? I’m a stick in the mud as they say. I’ve always done exactly what is expected of me, even more. I can’t tell anyone I’m too busy to help them or that I don’t have time. I have to keep my 4.0 average (a B is just unacceptable). And my life is like a to-do list. I want to be a multi-millionaire someday — in order to be able to own my own sports team, but sometimes it just seems like it’s not worth it. Maybe I should just become a beach bum and live a nomad’s life. Would that be so bad?

Wow. That was way too deep for my birthday entry. I seem to have been “waxing philosophical” as they say. Oh..one last thing. Happy 30th birthday to my boss Joe (Jan 18th).
